The benefits are endless.

* there is no riff-raff or trash on the channel
* you can use DVP (encryption) legally
* you can use repeaters or even repeater sets (voting/trunking) depending on your licensing
* if you have a newer purpose built repeater you can run multiple services on multiple ctcss/dcs tones (essentially allowing you to hire to say 4 companies the same frequency but neither will hear the other)
* you can legally use CAD and remote sensor reporting

.... the list goes on.
It is in great dangers that we see great courage.

Commercial channels, ok its a private channel you pay for and its yours to control and only you can allow who you want to use it with you, they also have to pay a fee if you are renting the frequency or if you own it you can have anyone you wish to use it.

Hi

Im interesting in learning more about commercial channels, i know you need a lic to tx on, but what are the actual benifits compared to CB channels,and how does it all work?
